Chess Pro-Paid

Chess Pro is another game app from 99Game’s and the last I will be reviewing today. Chess Pro is a full featured chess game for the iPhone or iPod Touch. The user interface for this game is very smooth and simple to use, even I got it the first time. Chess Pro is for the more accomplished chess player with different complexity levels and game variants. I was not sure what the game variant meant, but Chess Pro does a very good job to explain this. The suicide variant of game play is ingenious. The first player to loose all of his or her pieces or who has no legal moves left wins the game, now that is CRAZY! 99Games did a great job incorporating a Wikipedia link in the help section, providing the official rules for the game of chess. The hint feature on Chess Pro is very helpful, but when I used it I think I was in Suicide variant, because it kept telling me to sacrifice myself. There are several game options to choose from and you can save your game to play at a later time. I do not play a lot of chess, but I think I will be playing more with Chess Pro. Chess Pro sells for $3.99 in the iTunes store and there is a Chess Lite $.99 for those who do not want as much of a Chess challenge. CM
