About
As an admitted iPhone and iPad “appaholic” I had to figure out some way to generate something positive out of a rather costly addiction. Hence CrazyMikesapps.com was born. Since our world is becoming more mobile with the iPhone 4, iPad, and iTouch this site is primarily a video blog format. I review as many iPhone and iPad apps as I can in an unvarnished “indie” style. No real polish here, just a regular guy with a mission to share the good, bad, and the ugly (Clint Eastwood reference) from the iTunes App Store. CM
CrazyMikesapps.com main goal is to provide you with honest, accurate, funny, iPhone and iPad app reviews so coming to my site is not like going to the dentist. Any suggestions on how this site can be better please email them to mike@crazymikesapps.com
My reviews are sprinkled with a healthy dose of sarcasm to make your blog reading, listening, and viewing experience more enjoyable. Let CrazyMikesapps do the heavy lifting for you by scouring the iTunes App Store for the best iPhone apps out there. CM

Crazy Mike–(Mike Vallez), Founder Crazymikesapps.com, Editor, and Chief Creative Content Provider
My story: Social Media Strategist USIS, retired Police Officer (Tampa, Florida) and registered iPhone developer. I’ve had a strong affinity for smartphones since these devices first emerged. My first was a Palm Treo, then a couple of Blackberrys, a Samsung BlackJack, and finally the iPhone. I currently run a 32GB black iPhone 3GS and plan to upgrade every time a new iPhone comes out. Since my first iPhone, I’ve had an unhealthy interest in iPhone apps. By this, I mean I spend hours every day, week, month studying iPhone apps. What do I study? Things like, what are the best apps in all categories? What does the app offer? Is the app well made? Does it perform to its description?, etc. My main focus on iPhone apps was from a consumer perspective. However, since I started reviewing iPhone apps, I have developed some specific iPhone app marketing skills, including:
- how to preplan your iPhone app for the market
- iPhone app branding
- SEO for your iPhone app
- iPhone app creative content and user interface development
- iPhone app project management.
In addition to my love for the iPhone, iPad and my addiction of iPhone apps, I have extensive expertise with all aspects of social media. I am currently the Social Media Strategist for USIS an Altegrity company. My job duties range from SEO, social media policy implementation and management of all accounts, social media and web marketing, content creation and any other digital media mission one could think of. Besides managing numerous Twitter accounts, Facebook Fan Pages, Blogs, and Linkedin Groups while working for USIS I have also provided social media consultancy to companies such as iPhone Life Magazine and the USA Crusader. Due to my former career as a law enforcement officer I see a huge value for social media and law enforcement. Social Media Five-O is where you will find me blogging about social media, social media & law enforcement and other topics.
Social media is a key tool for iPhone and iPad app marketing, and I use this tool with my advertising efforts due to the huge benefits this can provide to app developers. My app reviews are honest, good natured and sometimes sarcastic. My goal is to ensure the consumer is spending their money wisely on iPhone/iPad apps, services, and accessories, not to alienate the developer, service provider, or product provider.
