Apple…Winning!

Apple…Winning!

While not considering myself a total “Apple Fanboy,” I will have to say that their products are exceptional, and as far as technology goes, if your product is “exceptional,” then that’s the one I want to be using. I hope to never become a brand loyalist blindly purchasing whatever “crap” a company puts out  just because. Regardless, whether you’re an Apple, Microsoft, Google, or other tech loyalist, you’ll have to look at the statistics to get a real view, and at the moment, Apple is killing it in the mobile market, and beyond. To add to this point, I found a couple of articles I wanted to share with you.

First, was from CNN Money, Transcript: Apple CEO Tim Cook at Goldman Sachs, this is a great read to get a feel for the new CEO, Tim Cook. There is also a huge upside to the crazy numbers mentioned in this article like the  55 million iPads sold to date in less than 2 years, or that Apple sold 37 million iPhones in Q1 2012, and more like Apple TV growth, as well as the normal disclaimer on the alleged poor-working conditions of Apple product builders in China.

The second article I found on CNET News, called “Why Apple is winning” is another good article on the mobile market and what Microsoft and Google are doing mostly wrong in spite of what many would say were hard policies by Apple to keep the iOS ecosystem pristine; it is the main reason for their current success.

Apple News and Rumors article

Whether you love, hate, or have no real opinion on Apple, one thing is for certain, they are winning and from the looks of things, will keep on winning in the mobile arena. I hope so, because to date most of my experiences, specifically customer service experiences, have been awesome:  a super easy broken iPhone replacement, a rebuilt MacBook Pro that was out of warranty, and a FREE MacBook Pro battery for another MacBook that was also out of warranty —  all without so much as a blink of an eye. If there is one thing that really separates a retailer from the pack, it is customer service, great products, and an ability to think outside-the-box — Apple is hitting 3 out of 3 currently.
