Lucky Wheel by Drobnik.com is similar to the American favorite Wheel of Fortune, at less than half the price. This game app is not overly flashy, but is a solid game. The game can play up to three players and is very basic in game play. First you determine how many players will be playing. Next complete the players names and then start spinning. Game play passes to the next player if a player does not correctly guess a letter in the text, lands on the miss your turn spot, or lands on the bankrupt spot (my least favorite). The other spots on the wheel are point spots ranging from 5 to 300. The game can be paused prior to taking your turn by touching the home key. If you think you know the puzzle you may choose to solve the puzzle during your turn by touching the lightbulb. I played several games and found the puzzles to be quite challenging. I lost my points more than once by landing on the bankrupt spot. I also played two fictional players Oliver and Bob and beat them (that was tough). A cool twist to this game is that it can be played in the English or German languages. You must change the language in your iPhone settings to do this, but this is a nice international option. The next Lucky Wheel version will have language options for English, German, Italian, Spanish, French, and Dutch (very cool). This game sells for $1.99 in the iTunes Store and is not rated as of this article. CM
