Mom Maps iPhone App | Locations For Mom’s Busy Lives

As the iTunes App Store continues to grow app “specialization” continues to evolve. One such iPhone app is Mom Maps developed by Family Travel Tools. This iPhone app directly targets mothers (or Mr. Mom’s) with specific locations that parents would be interested in. Locations such as parks, museums, restaurants, etc are pre-populated for easy discovery while parents are mobile or planning their battle plan for the day.

Mom Maps is very easy to use with the basic location categories as previously mentioned at your finger tips once you open the app. There is a settings icon (bottom right) which allows you to change the distance you are searching for locations, sort searches, and loggin to MomMaps.com. Mom Maps iPhone app is more than just an iPhone app for Mothers and Mr. Mom’s it is also a community.

The website and iPhone app allow the user to input relevant locations with ratings (review of locations) to share with other parents and possibly save some other parents some pain and suffering. Mom Maps for the iPhone is not a nation wide app, which is the only drawback I see in this iPhone app. The cities that are represented currently are San Francisco, LA, NY, Boise, Milwaukee, New Orleans, Philly, Portland, St Louis, Salt Lake City, Albuquerque, Maui, and Seattle. The description on iTunes asks for input (awesome) and for those cities not represented for information to help index locations in those cities.

I have recently become a big fan of Mom’s iPhone apps because mothers matter and Mr. Mom’s. Mom Maps is a FREE iPhone app and this app receives 4 CrazyMikes Head’s for iPhone app “specialization” and community. CM
