Stay Tuned iPhone App | Web Video’s x Infinity, Just Open and Absorb

 Facebook Twitter

The iPhone is by far the best smartphone on the planet for watching videos, bar none (have not idea what that cliche means). Regardless of my stupidity, the iPhone is the premier device to watch videos on while on the go. The new iPhone app Stay Tuned by CodeFurious will help you stay connected to some of the webs best videos without you having to do anything. This is one of the easiest, if not the easiest app that you will ever use. After purchase, download, sync, you open the app and you will sync to the CodeFurious server. It may take a few seconds to sync, but should not take more than that (depending on network speed and WiFi speeds). The app will place you into whatever video is playing. You may end up in the middle, end, or right at the beginning depending on the time you join. I have used this app several times and each time it was pretty cool. Most recently I watched a CNet video, GNet at CES 2010 with an interview with the CEO and President of Ford Motor Company. The only controls you have while watching the video is to tap on the screen to go from full screen to partial screen viewing mode. There is an icon on the bottom right that when pressed will tell you the next video coming up. There are videos from CNN, CBS, GeekBrief TV, MacBreak, Photo Shop tutorials, and so much more. I am not sure how many videos play an hour, but this app has plenty of cool videos to watch. I guess you could kind of dub this app a “video Stumble Upon” app. Stay Tuned costs $2.99 and gets 4 CrazyMikes head’s for awesomeness in videos. Some add’s I would like to see in an update: daily playlist, video time indicator, possibly video rating system, just to name a few. CM

Cost: $2.99
